Keep and Eye zine 9-12

I really enjoy thinking about the message this story shows. everyone's desire is to be whole. to be happy and fulfilled. there are people who feel a bit incomplete and sad, but there are people who don't have a face at all- for me it's a metaphor for people who can't figure who they are at all (oh my god I was listening to "flesh and bone" by Keaton Henson, and while I wrote it he sang "have no eyes". but seriously just now I realized how similar this song to this article ).
back to what I was saying. so these people, who feel incomplete (aka me) seek for pieces of themselves. but these pieces are material. more things to see, more things to experience. some people are "too complete"- they experience too much, see too much, they are... normal too much. fitting in perfectly. these extra pieces doesn't matter- people usually don't notice when you are too much, they only seem to notice when you're too little. you look sad, you look worried, you look sick. only few notice when you're feeling cheerful and calm, and they are mostly the incomplete people, ironically. I guess people that are too complete get distracted by their happiness and their desires- aka extra body parts, so they forget how other people want to be complete also, and they need those extra pieces. this incomplete girl notices another incomplete boy. she notices he's even more incomplete than her, and in this moment when she could finally become complete, and forget the incomplete people's struggles, she decides to give the eye to the boy- to help him become a bit more complete. and in the end- she feels complete. even without the eye.
because they complete each other.

I'm sorry if it's hard to understand, I get carried away by words too much sometimes. I can talk about theories and random deep things forever. I don't even care if someone listens to me or not- I usually just do it to make my thoughts a bit more clearer. most of the times- it doesn't. but it feels good somehow, so I keep doing it.
